Tinted glass products are produced by small additions of metal oxides to the float or rolled glass composition. These small additions colour the glass bronze, green, blue or grey but do not affect the basic properties of the glass except for changes in the solar energy transmission. The colour is homogeneous throughout the thickness.

Tinted Float Glass is normal flat glass to which colour is added during the manufacturing process to achieve tint & solar radiation absorption properties. Its absorption properties help diminish energy transmission through the glass when exposed to strong sunlight.
